This site is to pay tribute to the much loved and popular Davie Lawson. Feel free to share your messages, stories & donations to charities that supported Davie throughout his battle with lung cancer. 

Davie was diagnosed with lung cancer in the spring of 2019, in true Davie style he promised to fight and his red, white and blue heart promised no surrender! He took on really gruelling chemotheraphy sessions and months  of radiotheraphy and did not complain once. Going from being a really active security guard in a....community shopping centre and job centre to being house bound with his dogs was the hardest and most difficult transition for him to accept. With the love and support of his loving partner Lorraine, four of his children, and his dogs Davie was still determined to keep fighting. On the 25th November Davie was rushed to hospital kissing Lorraine goodbye and whispering “no surrender,” he fought and battled for a whole week before his body finally said “no more.” On the 1st Decemeber 11.27pm wearing his Rangers top his red, white and blue heart beat for the last time saying “goodbye” to us here on earth and saying “hello” to the loved ones waiting for him in the sky.
